Dad was scheduled for his thyroid level check today. If the thyroid level is decreasing steadily, he will be ready for the operations on boxing day.

As my dad is still not in his best shape, I had decided to take MJ's car to ferry him to and from TTSH. Kaoz! Driving has never been fun for me and i have never enjoy a bit of it. Stress is the only word that best decribe my feeling each time my hands are on the steering wheels. With my dad's guidance, we managed to arrive in TTSH on time for the appointment. :)

The Specialist at TTSH is happy with my Dad'a thyroid level. In her profession opinion, Dad will be fit enough for the operation on boxing day. Phew!

It was almost time to fetch MJ from office when i sent Dad home from TTSH. I exchanged a few sentences with Mum, waved goodbye to little Javier, and left the house. Now, i am all alone in the vehicle. *sweat* I turned the engine on, let go the brakes and just when the car moved, a motor cycle came from my right. Opps! did i say that i forgotten to check my right? Damn! the motorcycle swivelled slightly to side and continue the journey. Not to far from where i left, the motorcycle made a stop.

A malay uncle alighted from the bike. I stopped the vehicle and walk towards him. I did not know what is the protocol for accidents, and initiated to pay for the medical reimbursements. He shooked his head and told me that he sprained his ankle and some oilment will do. I was at loss and decided to exchange our telephone numbers.

Upon meeting up with MJ, i told him the story and insisted to make a police report. We arrived at a police station. Guess waht? i saw my polytechnic classmate, Alvin. He explained to me that there is no need for us to make any police report unless the person is injured. "Injured" in their terms, means that doctor have to certify that the person is unfit to work for 3 days or more. Besides, traffic accidents falls under Traffic Police jurisdiction.

Chey! i shdnt had initiated hte reimbursement and exchange of numbers for he didnt look he needs 3 day MC for that. He is not"injured" afterall. Thank god! He did not haunt me after the incident.
