More on An Hour with Bob.

This week we had a very special show. Some called it, "Extreme Makeover: Bob Edition"... I think that may be a bit dramatic, but it is a must see for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" fans. Recipient of the home makeover in RI, Ken Silva of Warwick joins us to tell us how life is in his new home. Plus, the contractors behind the transformation from Oldport Homes - Eric Johnson and Jon Seibold share exclusive never before seen footage and the secrets on how they built and entire house in under a week. An hour with bob is looking to go out on the road again for a few shows. But we need your help with an idea of where to go! If you have any ideas of a place you would like to see us go to, to do our shows,  please leave a comment to this blog with your idea and we will pick some of the best ones to go to!!  Whether it is a Theater, Restaurant, Golf Course, Mall, Meauseam, College...ANYWHERE.

 The crew of the show just got back from filimg our most recent show at Sonoma Grill on Post Rd. in North Kingston RI. The show came out great and the food was delicious! Once the show was finished we all got a chance to sit down, and relax while enjoying a complimentary dinner. So watch the show this coming weeked (Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th) and hopefully you can stop by Sonoma Grill and enjoy the food fo yourself!

Happy Holidays To: you...From: the Crew of An Hour With Bob!!

The 14th Victor J Veturini Memorial Toys For Tots Telethon is only about a week away!  This Tuesday, December 4th, is the big event LIVE at the Warwick Mall food court from 6:15 - 9 on Cox channel 70. The telethon itself will start at 5 but the airtimes avaliable to us started at 6:15.

Work on the telethon started back in October. My task was to create the opening of the show. It took me about 2 weeks to make the opening and here is the finished product On Google Video

We want this year to be the best toys for tots ever! Last year we filled up 2 large military trucks and this yea, we are hoping to go for more! So start a collection at your home and work and bring it to the mall and you could end up on live tv!

 Well we had a great show last week with guests Jim Hummel from ABC6, new addition to our crew Loren Petisce, and one of the best bands we've had in a while "Copper Pocket". Coming up this week it looks like we will have the director of the RIDOT, Jerome Williams to talk about the new I-Way project... Plus we've had her on before, and she always makes for some good coversation, Astrologist June Finan. We are preparing some segments from the I-Way public tour day in October... me and Bob were among the first to walk on the new bridge. We go some interviews with Providence Mayor David Cicilline, Director Williams, and some of the workers on the I-Way project. The full 30min show from the I-Way should be running within the next few months... You can watch the all new An Hour with Bob this Thursday at 11pm, Friday at 10pm, and Saturday at 1pm on channel 13 on Cox Cable and channel 32 if you have Verizon's services.

We just got done shooting this year's Toys for Tots commercials. We 2 versions for television/web, and some more to be used during An hour with Bob and BBA. One thing that was different about this shoot, was that there was a script. Normally, anything that we do with Bob doesn't have any scripts or plans, we just decide on the fly. Overall, I'm very happy with the the way it came out. You can watch the promo's on google video here... or go to the Toys for Tots telethon website for more information.
