I'm gonna have it take place with the MT. Diablo writing contest ending on the 1st of April, so please help! I promise everyone participating will get any credit thy deserve, and the deadline is sneaking closer, so please help! :D

This is the entry (beginning) I started with: ^^

Alice giggled and hid behind the old brick wall that was covered in ivy shoots climbing along the sides. She stared at the confused man she left hanging with her paper brown package. She had told him to hold it for her while she ran to get her mother, for permission to pet his doggie. The beautiful golden retriever panted happily, paying attention to the package, so obviously it wasn’t food hidden inside the bag. She suppressed another laugh as the man curiously lifted it up, examining it at all angles, trying to figure out what was inside. It wasn’t an in particular heavy package, but she knew the thing inside was heavy enough to make the man wonder, What could possibly be inside a paper brown bag that a little girl holds when she goes to play at the park?

The man turned and looked in her direction, she ducked in the shadow of the building. When she was sure he wasn’t looking, she peeked behind the rough surface of the brick and peered at the man. He was looking in the same direction his dog was, and she could see the back of both of them. The dog started straining on his leash; another dog, a Scottie, had arrived in the noisy playground. The man had no choice but to pull his dog back, for he had to keep the bag for the little blonde girl who apparently had set out for her mother. She chuckled to herself. She played this joke every year, and usually the victim was smiling by the end of the joke, when he or she realized a little young girl had outsmarted them. But this year, Alice had something new in mind…

Rules of this month's competition:

1) No more than 3 entries per person, per entry. (Like, if you're trying to enter the third section, you may only enter 3 times.)

2) No stealing, copying off someone else's work, yada yada.

3) Stay on the storyline. Entries must be realistic.

4) No abrupt or sudden endings that sounds horrible. It just ruins the story. (eg. "...and then he woke up. It was all a dream!", etc.)

5) Any other basic stuff that I forgot to mention. xD
