The game has new features including a new Next-Gen engine which uses a hybrid lighting model that combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps to make Lara's world look real.

Crystal Dynamics have given Lara full motion capture that lets her interact richly withing  her environment.

Tomb Raider Underworld has been targeted for a 2008 release. More information to come soon.
