Okay guys, I've been waiting to host our annual SST Nation Halo3 Tournament. I've got a scheduled date for 5/3/08-5/4/2008 from Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. This Tournament will have 16 players (8 players to each bracket) and will compete down to the top 2 players for the Championship Round. The winner will be given a custom made Graphic Banner featuring their picture, the SST Nation Tourny Trophy, date they won, score, and their name. This banner you can use to post anywhere you would like even on other forums for bragging. I'm planning on hosting many tournaments but this one is the one to start them all. Remember, this is a 1v1 tourny, so you're on your own. Lemme just list the rules and regulations.

Rules & Regulations

1. 16 Player will compete in 1 vs 1 in each round bracket.
2. 8 player are put on each side of the bracket (total of 16 split into 2 conferences)
3. To win a round, you must defeat your opponent with 25 Kills
4. Winners will advance to next round
5. Drfunk will be reffing each match
6. During gameplay, if you're not featured in the match you must stay out of gameplay and remain in the crowd zones.
7. Upon someone getting in the way, they will be booted from gameplay.
8. If a play continues to get in the way, they will be booted entirely from gameplay and will forfeit their round spot forcing opponent to automatically advance
9. Opponents in a match may NOT spawn camp, camp with a weapon (you must move around) or use lag to your advantage (YOU WILL BE BOOTED). Upon this they will forfeit their spot in the round resulting in opponent to automatically advance.
10. Crowd Audience may not kill each other or taunt the opponents by using weapons to either shoot or throw (grenades) near them. (This Will Be Automatic Ban)
11. Before each match, Opponents will be announced to make sure there is no confusing (this is through the main screen)

Since last time we left off, Halo3 has 3 new maps that are now downloadable. These maps are pretty much remakes of old maps from Halo2. They consist of Avalanches, Ghost Town (new) and Blackout. All 3 maps are a good addition to the matchmaking multiplayer but are not yet free (you have to add Microsoft Points to your account to download them). On another note, GTA IV is about to release and I've heard great things about this game, so much that we even opened up a thread section in the forum for it for everybody to discuss. GTA IV releases on 4/28/2008. Drfunk now has a new project at hand. I shall be customizing shoes very soon for my own artistic abilities and pleasures. Let's just call it, Drfunk's new project. I've always had a passion for collecting shoes like Air Force Ones and Nike Air Max that I've decided to start creating my own custom colorways instead of just being able to buy what's out there. We also now have a new Clan Thread in the forums section for anybody who wants to post their clans or for anybody who wants to join the SST Nation. That first chapter of my book should be coming out soon so everybody who is waiting, just be a little more patient and get ready to rock with the Funk!

Lemme start off by saying, today is an awesome day. First, we got the entire website going, and I'm very hopeful that we get a lot of members checking this out soon. Drfunk cannot wait for the GTA IV game to come out. I will personally try and have an entire day off of work just to play the game and write "rave" reviews for everybody. Other than that, I have a Halo 3 Tournament in the plans. Yours truly probably won't be included in the tournament because I wanna be reffing the event but trust me, I'm going to try and get lots and lots of peoples so it's fun. Possibly we might even have a Team Slayer event. Other details will be released later but what I also want to touch upon is that we now have a working Forum to discuss everything from COD4 to Halo 3, to even Army of Two and a place to post your graphics if you're a designer. Be sure to check those out and sign the guest book also. Aww I'm still getting lost in my own thoughts thinking about Grand Theft Auto 4 and what I will do with thy game. Other than that, it's still Drfunk's lunch break and I have lots of checking upz to do.
