not able to pick them up yet but can't wait for the weekend.

Am so excited, this is her first litter so i hope she will be a good mum and all will go well for her and the babies!

will update as soon as i know anything.

However I was sold Allie as a boy (which I named Adley), and after a few weeks and a bit of hedgie research on the internet I came across some pictures of the undersides of males and female hedgehogs. I instantly thought something was not quite right. My Adley didn't have a 'belly button'. So I march off upstairs, wake the poor little thing up and start staring at its belly, holding it up to the computer screen (it did look as odd as it sounds) and to my amazement he was actually a she!

I think it must have been a confusion from the breeder who had two litters at the same time and was in the middle of moving house when i went there. she literally must have handed me the wrong one!

Which was good for me as i'd been looking for a girl on the net and couldn't find one anywhere.
