<P><B>Pauline Fossil</B> is a character in the book <I>Ballet Shoes</I>&nbsp;and its two television adaptations. She has no parents, she was adopted by Professor Matthew Brown, called <I>Gum</I>. She is portrayed by Elizabeth Morgin and by Emma Watson. <BR>When she was just a baby, she was adopted by Professor Mathew Brown. He found her during his travel, in a shipwreck. He took her home and adopted her in the name of his great neice Sylvia Brown.<BR>Pauline lives in London, England. When she was six, she started going to school, but she had to leave because her guardian could no longer afford the school fees. When she was 10, she became a student of Children's Academy of Dancing and Stage Training, with her sisters, Petrova and, Posy. She showed some talent for dance, but not as much as her talent for acting. She soon became the best actress in her group. Her first role was Tyltyl in the Maurice Maeterlinck's theatre play The Blue Bird. When she was 12, she got her permission to work, and got her first proffesional role, Alice in the theatre play, Alice's Adventure in Wonderland. With that show she became a child star in England. After that,she became sucessful theatre actress,acting Peaseblossom in A Midsummer Night's Dream and King Edward IV in Richard III.<BR>Hollywood showed an interest in Pauline, so she got the role of Henrietta Anne of England in the hit movie, King Charles II. After that film, Pauline returned to the theatre for the last time, playing the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Pauline signed the contract for acting in Hollywood's Films.</P></FONT>]]></content>

<P><FONT face=arial>Hermione is a muggle-born Gryffindor student and the best friends of Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. And is the daughter of two dentists, Mrs.Granger and Mr.Granger.</FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman"> </FONT><FONT face=arial>she is an overachiever who shows considerable academic prowess when compared to her close friends and classmates, and she is described by Rowling as a <I>"very logical, upright and good"</I> character.Her parents are "a bit amused by their odd daughter",but quite proud of her at the same time. Rowling says that Hermione feels utterly </FONT><FONT face=arial><EM>inadequate...and to compensate, she tries to be the best at everything at school, projecting a false confidence that can irritate people."&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <BR></EM>Hermione's Boggart is Proffesor McGonagall informing her that she failed all of her exams. Hermione's Patronus is an otter, Rowling's favorite animal. Her wand is made of vine wood and dragon heartstring core; vine is the wood ascibed to Hermione's fictional birthday month (September) on the Celtic Calendar. Though Rowling has descrbied the character of Luna Lovegood as the 'anti Hermione' because they both share the excact same idelogies. Hermione's foil at Hogwarts is Pansy Parkinson, a female bully based on real-life girls who teased the author during her school days. <BR>Hermione's most prominent feature is her cleverness . She is a book smart and is very good with logic. <BR>Hermione does not do well in stressful situations</FONT><FONT face=arial>, as seen when she does not think to use her wand when needing to create fire to get rid of the Devil's Snare. However, in <I>Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows</I>, she can quickly think of a place to apparate to. She also thinks to reveal Harry briefly to the Death Eaters to save Luna Lovegood's Father, Xenophilius Lovegood and use a Stinging Hex on Harry's face to hide his real identity when attacked by Snatchers.<BR>In the end, Hermione got married to Ron and had twohildren named, Rose and Hugo Weasley. =]</FONT></P>]]></content>

Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of nine, having acted only in school plays.From 2001 to 2007, she starred in five <I>Harry Potter</I> film installments alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. She will return for the final three installments: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, due to be released in 2008, and the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.Watson's work in the <I>Harry Potter</I> series has earned her several awards and more than &#163;10 million.</P>
<P>In 2007, Watson announced her involvement in two non-<I>Harry Potter</I> productions: the made-for-television adaption of the novel Ballet Shoes and an animated film, The Tale of Despereaux. <I>Ballet Shoes</I> was broadcast on Boxing Day 2007 to an audience of 5.2 million and <I>The Tale of Despereaux</I>, based on the book by Kate DiCamillo, will be released in 2008.</P>]]></content>
