First hospital scare.

I didn't have time to write this up sooner, but yesterday we had our
first big scare. I put Jayden down on my moms 4ft. high bed to change
her diaper, and I realized I left the diapers downstairs. I put pillows
around her and went to get the diapers. While I was downs stairs I
heard a loud THUMP and then Jayden started screaming. I hauled ass
upstairs to find Jayden lying on the floor screaming her head off. I
was so scared, I was worried she had hit her head and was going to die.
I called my grandma and my mom and we went to the hospital. After
waiting for an hour and a half (with me sitting their freaking out
thinking my kid's brain was bleeding and wondering WHERE the HELL the
doctor is) we got sent back to a room where we had to wait ANOTHER half
hour to have Jayden looked at. The doctor poked around her head and
checked over her body for any bumps and bruises and since she was
laughing and playing with him he said she was probably fine. He told me
what to look for in case her brain did start bleeding, and sent us on
our way. Jayden's fine now, she had a big goose egg on the back of her
head, and it's a little bruised there now, but she's acting like her
normal, giggly self.

I still don't think my heartbeat has returned to normal, though.
