Some great things are happening with my writing.

First, my story "Death Game" was accepted for publishing in A Thousand Faces, sometime during 2009. They are a quarterly magazine (print and online), and they liked my story quite a bit. It'll just be in one of their later issues for the year. I know this story was just published in Bohemian Alien, but it's a small enough magazine (and the fact it is on hiatus) that A Thousand Faces is willing to reprint it. Woohoo!

Second, my story "Amy" was allowed to enter the New Author's contest at Glimmertrain. They want stories that have never been published from Author's who don't have much publishing (if any) credentials. I asked them if I could still submit it, even though it was published in Bohemian Alien. Thankfully, they said yes. Of course, they're reasoning made me scratch my head a bit. It seems that they don't consider being published in an online magazine as really being published. Hmm. While I disagree with that, I'm glad that it actually works in my favor this time. Now I just have to wait and see how "Amy" does in the contest.

Hey,

It's been awhile since I posted anything here. Just to let you know that my stories "The Letter" and "Death Game" did appear in Issue 4 of Bohemian Alien, however that magazine has gone on hiatus for a bit. Just pray for Happy as she tries to find a way to keep it going. My own magazine has been doing quite well, and we're just trucking along.

I took "Amy" off of here for a bit, because I want to enter it into a contest. I think I'm able to do so, because it was first published in a small on-line magazine. I don't think there should be any problem. However, if there is, I'll put it back on here.

Issue 4 (August 2008) of the Bohemian Alien has been launched, and it looks pretty good to me. Happy did find it in her heart to include "Death Game", so I have two stories in this issue ("The Letter" was the other one, if you remember). I will post them here on the sight in a month or two. She has the rights to them for now, and I want to give her the traffic for them before I just take my stories again. (Not that I actually have a lot of traffic here, nor would the posting of my stories actually take away from her, but you understand).
