Before we even try to answer those questions something must be made clear.  There are no two individuals on earth who are exactly the same in how they approach Online Advertising.

We are all special and unique persons in our own right.  I can not expect that you would want to promote your SFI links in exactly the same way that I do.

Duplication is NOT some "cookie cutter" approach where we all have to think and act in the same way.  

When your SFI training talks about duplication it simply means that we can't do everything all by ourselves.  We need help. We need each other.

I need the help of my downline. And my downline needs the help of their downline. Now let's combine the two concepts that we have already discussed.

One is that duplication is necessary if we hope to be really successful with SFI. And the second thing we must realize is that we are all unique individuals in our own right.

So the secret is that you don't have to try and do everything that I do.

It works like this.

I use this FreeWebs blog page to share some of the things that I have found helpful.

You will probably decide to try some, but not all, of them. Then you will discover things and places that I don't even know about and you will share your ideas and successes with your downline.

Now here is where the duplication becomes important.  I have found that the FreeWebs webpages and blog posts are easy to create and to use.

FreeWebs is free, it is available online. No matter what country you live in, you should be able to get equal access to your own FreeWebs blog.

No matter how little money you can afford to spend on advertising, you should all have equal access to your own FreeWebs blog because it is free.

And no matter where your downline lives and no matter how little they spend on advertising, you can share the FreeWebs blog idea with them because it is free and it is easy for beginners to understand and to use.

So there is the duplication that we all need. I share this idea with you and you share it with your downline and ask them to share it on down the line.

Now your own special personality springs into action as you choose what content you will put in your FreeWebs blog. It will be different from my content because you are your own special person.

It will be the "same" as my content in as much as I am simply trying to help my downline in my own special way. And you will try to help your SFI downline in your own way.

Does that make sense to you? I hope it does.

Get Your Own FreeWebs Blog

Choose a FreeWebs username that is meaningful to you and also easy to remember and to share.  It must be a unique username that no one else has chosen.

Please note that like many free sites, if there were no logins and no visits to your FreeWebs site for a period of 90 days you could lose your site due to inactivity.

But that is easy to cure. Create a new site and keep it up to date. Make new entries to your blog from time to time. Put the link to your new blog in the SFI affiliate greeting for your downline.

This gets your message online without having to pay for a classified ad which expires after a certain length of time.

Free AdForums are becoming quite popular and for good reason.  As the description implies, they are free. And it is important to note that most of these types of forums have no expiry date for your ad. 

Your ad can be kept indefinitely.  Even if your SFI ad is no longer seen on the current page after a period of time, it is still in the system.  Careful choice of keywords in your ad title can mean that when people search through the search engines, your ad is still available.

See below for a partial list of  Free AdForums which I have used to promote various programs. When editing your Profile in these Forums and it asks you to enter your website home page, you can use one of your SFI gateway pages.

Also be sure to create a signature with clickable links if possible. This lets your ad perform double duty. You get to place an Ad where it can be found by the search engines. And your signature at bottom of the Ad can contain one or two links not found in the body of your Ad.

Take note that many people do NOT reveal their email address in their profile and do not show it in their ad.  This is to avoid having your email address spammed by the bad guys who want to fill your mailbox with junk email.

Perhaps you have been an affiliate for a while but never really developed your very own 1-2-3 step by step Plan.

We would like to suggest the following easy to get started 1-2-3 step Plan.

1.  We believe that your FIRST step to success with SFI is to complete the brief SmartStart Program found inside your SFI members area.

It contains a simple Overview of SFI and then you answer questions to develop your marketing profile. The questions are not difficult.  Some are simple Yes or No answers. For some you put a checkmark in a box, such as when you are asked to select the marketing methods you have previous experience with.

Also you will be asked to indicate the number of hours you hope to devote to SFI each week, etc.  There are no right or wrong answers. Just your answers.

After completing this SmartStart profile there are two more down-to-earth activities we suggest you get started on right away.

2.  We suggest that you find ways and places to promote your SFI gateway pages.  It is very important to realize that you must NOT use any method that involves SPAM. Be aware that SFI takes this matter very seriously.

We suggest that you start by promoting one SFI gateway page then add others later.

The first page I promoted was the one ending with the word  FREE  as follows:

(Just remember, when you promote a page like that one, be sure you use your own SFI ID#  and not mine.)

3.  We suggest that you help your downline learn how to help their own downline in a way that is reasonably easy to duplicate.

A practical example of what I mean by that can be seen by me using this FreeWebs blog page to create these SFI help files.  You can easily get your own Free Account with FreeWebs (up to 7 pages long) and choose to make one of those pages your FreeWebs blog page.

Then you can use that blog page to help your downline, just like I am trying to do here.  Then let your downline know that they can get their own FreeWebs blog to help their downline.  Even for someone fairly new to creating webpages and blogs, I believe that FreeWebs is reasonably easy to learn, at least it was for me.
