The Board also acquired 19-year-old right back Erko Bazjukin. Including Juliano, the club has brought in two defenders and two attackers since the start of Season 22.

The young Erko of Estonia only made two appearances for his former club and is looking forward to continuing his development with the Seasiders.

Stefan Dica is as successful as they come in SP. He's scored 132 goals in 175 appearances and won the H Division in Season 18.

Dmitris Azmi is hailed by many as having a late-peaking career. At 31 years old, Dmitris has only made 39 appearances but has scored 32 goals, giving him a 0.820 strike rate.

The Board believes these acquisitions, in addition to the seasoned veterans, will lead South Coast to success in round one of Season 22.

After an impressive 5-0 home victory to start the campaign, South Coast traveled to White Tigers on Monday and stumbled along the way. The sold-out crowd witnessed a hard fought match and center forward Jiri Nemecek put the Tigers on the scoreboard in the 33rd minute. The Seasiders charged into the 2nd half with a vengeance, and as a result received five yellow cards. The 2nd half was mostly evenly matched, though South Coast could not find the equalizer.

Captain goalkeeper Chris Myung-Bo thought the opposition were just a step ahead in the midfield. "[Zach] Kuffour usually does well in the center, a strong attacker and defender," he said of the former co-starter's performance. New centerback Timmy Moreira wasn't available due to fatigue, so natural sweeper Davy Wolff stepped in. Assistant Manager Preston Siodlarz thought Wolff was "not at his best," but not inadequate. Manager beach_blvd thought that he side might have overlooked their opponents. "It's possible the attention, the media hype put them off their focus. We did prepare to as we always do, regardless of the fixture."

In other news, 22-year-old right forward Jose Leitch made his first appearance in the 1-0 loss. Many criticized his play, citing it well below club and teammate expectations. The following day he was made available on the transfer list. The Board of Directors issued a press release on the matter, stating:

"We have placed right forward Jose Leitch on the transfer list. He's a strong competitor and fought for the club in every appearance. Unfortunately, we believe last year's form (9 goals in 19 matches) has decreased significantly and he is no longer in the club's plans for this campaign."

Neither Jose nor his agent was available for comment.
<!--
