Unfortunately, we not blessed with good fishing. Everyone reported catching numerous short fish, but keepers were very hard to come by.

Jarrod Watkins came in first place with 5 bass weighing 10.48 lbs. Jarrod caught his fish up the Little Sac on crankbaits.

Heath Stuart came in second with one bass weighing 4.79 lbs, which was also good for the Big Bass on Saturday. Heath caught his bass on a shakey head.

Virgil Bourne came in third with one bass weighing 2.70 lbs, which was good for Big Bass on Sunday. Virgil caught his fish on a crankbait up the Little Sac.

4th Place – Neil Parikh, 1 bass, 2.41 lbs
5th Place – Larry Meyers, 1 bass, 2.09 lbs
6th Place – Charles Tompkins, 1 bass, 1.65 lbs

The Classic concludes our 2009 fishing season. Looking forward to great fishing in 2010.

This is our last tournament for 2009. Total payout for the Classic will be $895, plus an optional Big Bass pot each day. Here is the take-off order for the Classic:

We will be launching from the Orleans Trail Marina. Tournament hours are 7 AM to 3 PM both days.

In addition, cloud cover made fishing very slow. The fishing seemed to pickup late in the afternoon when the sun came out.

Allen Riddle came in first place with one fish weighing 3.12 lbs. Allen’s fish was also good for Big Bass. Allen caught his bass on a jig.

Jarrod Watkins was second with three fish weighing 3.05 lbs. Jarrod caught his bass on a crankbait.

Virgil Bourne was third with 2 fish weighing 2.95 lbs. Virgil caught his fish on a crankbait.

4^th - Neil Parikh, 1 fish, 2.05 lbs.

5^th - Dan Hull, 1 fish, 1.80 lbs.

6^th - Heath Stuart, 1 fish, 1.50 lbs.

Most anglers that fished this last Sunday reported catching a lot of bass, but finding 15" fish was very difficult.

Neil Parikh came in first and took Big Bass with one fish weighing 3.11 lbs. Neil caught his bass on a Sammy topwater.

Dennis Mitchell came in second with one bass weighing 2.13 lbs. Dennis caught his fish on a white spinnerbait.

Larry Meyers was third with one bass weighing 1.90 lbs. Larry caught his fish on a white spinnerbait.
