There's a new, special section. The Domo section! We've currently got all ten super special Domo-kun clocks from http://www.domomode.com/english.html. It's a great site, it would be wonderful if you went there... right now!

According to this site:

"Domo

A strange creature that hatched from an egg. His body is stout but his heart is pure. Loves tv. Often causes trouble by day dreaming and not paying attention to things. Lets out explosive farts when upset.

Favourite food: Japanese-style meat and potato stew
Least favourite food: Apples
(a big mystery that is in his DNA)"

//EDIT: The dictionary base has been formed. Just go here.

So today I was just sitting here. And all I could think of was the beautiful unused "NX Cash card" waiting to be used. Of course, I'm waiting for Cindy-sama before I use it.

What is NX? That's what gave me my next idea. How about a nice DICTIONARY using words of today, without stating obvious words such as "lol" or faces such as "XD", but rather words like "NX", "Nexx (that's different from NX by the way)", anime/manga terms/gaming terms and all around new words. Hey, if you ask for it I might even add stuff from different languages. Everything would have a definition, pronounciation, and possible other spelling.

And if you have any requests, just comment! It's really so easy.

A Summer 2008 Challenge!

My challenge for all of you is to read 100 books by the end of summer ('08). Post a comment when you've finished, but if you don't know where to start, you have two options: crack open a book, or my very neatly organized summer plan. If you need some book ideas, I have put together a very simple book list compiled of over 100 books varying in length, genre, and ability. Of course, I won't tell you all that information. I'll just simply put the name, series (if any) and author. You can read the list here. Now, on to the plan!

If you start on July 3, you have exactly 60 days to read 100 books during the summer.

Summer Break up:

Approximately 9 weeks: Total number of...

Sundays: 9 > 1 book every Sunday
Mondays: 9 \
Tuesdays: 8 |
Wednesdays: 8 > 2 books every week day
Thursdays: 9 |
Fridays: 9 /
Saturdays: 9 >1 book every Saturday

End of summer weekend total: 9+9=18 days x 1 book per day= 18 books total
End of summer weekday total: 9+8+8+9+9=43 days x 2 books per day= 86 books total
Summer book total= 18+86= 104 books

Q: How do I start?
A: It takes approximately 1 hour to read one of these books. During the weekend, read from 9-10 every day (AM or PM, your preference- even a different time if you prefer it. Just remember to ALWAYS stick to that time). During weekdays, since you read 2 books, read from 8-10 (AM or PM, your preference- even a different time if you prefer it. Just remember to ALWAYS stick to that time. Again.)

CUMULATIVE REVIEW:

Goal: Read 100 books by the end of the summer.
Procedure: Read 1 book every Saturday & Sunday during the summer.
Read 2 books every Monday-Friday during the summer.
End Result: 104 books read by the end of summer, with a 2-4 day allowance for long books.

Yes, the whole idea is simple. But simple is best.
